Peter Murphy is a good call. He's compared to Bowie but honestly I enjoy
Murphy's vox more than Bowie's. If I had a top 20, I'd put him in that.
But I like the black-haired crooners (Presley/Orbison/Vanian/Danzig, who
are all in my list) - what can I say?
I like Jaz's voice a lot because he can alternate at will between his
posh, post-punk (I would say "New Romantic" but that would piss off Mr.
Alex Smith!) vocal style ("A New Day") and his dinosaur, Lemmy-roar
vocal style at will. Wish I could do that.
