Did you hear that joke about Bongo on the telly recently? Some panel show like Nevermind the Buzzcocks. Anyway, apparently Bonio was clapping away & shouted out "Every time I clap, a child dies in Africa" to which the reply from the back of the crowd was "Stop clapping then!!". Love it :)

Further to Neil Young, I'll add Van Morrison in the whiny annoying stakes.

 

And I'll add my guarded support for Bonio - the double disc Boy, October & War (particularly October) were among my favourite purchases of this year. I just reject anything he sings wearing those twattish fly specs.

I've never liked Springsteen's voice or music. I especially hate his fans, but the man himself seems like a decent guy.

 

Sue me, but I like Bono's voice.  Likewise McCartney.
