I think people fail to see the millions that watch clips of his commentaries from TV and radio on Youtube. Also, there is a significant audience that watch the likes of Hannity and Bill-O that are not of the republican base. They watch because they hate them so much.

Fox News is also broadcast is many local businesses, doctors offices, schools, etc.,

Then again, like I said, I missed all this conversation. I'm jumping in the middle, so point me out if I'm talking about the wrong thing.
  The media? It's only the republicans and right wingers that discussed it. Why is "ties" in quotes?
  But see, you're talking about Sean Hannity, who is only listened to and watched by the base.
