I thought the same thing when I saw that video as well, but I never bothered
to look into who was first with that look and sound.

I remember first seeing the video for "She Sells Sanctuary" -- feat spikily
bequiffed Duffy wielding a big, thick-body Gretsch and *IMMEDIATELY* thought
he was ripping of Geordie.
