When did duffy's look and sound begin with theater of hate? Was it before
the stray cats blew up in the UK clubs.

I seem to remember hearing that the Cult and KJ had toured together back in
the day, no?
Billy may have sported the pompadour prior to Geordie, though (who had more
of a metalhead shag at first). Duffy's days in Theatre of Hate were all
pomp-tastic.
