Three Extremes is actually composed one Japanese, one Hong Kong (the alarmingly disturbing one about dumplings) and one South Korean film. The SK one is from the director of Oldboy, by the way.

Yes, you're right. I tend to unflatteringly-to-myself blur Korean and
Japanese horror together. I probably should have said "East Asian."

South Korea and Japan have some fierce competition going on as far as
disturbing, horrific movies go, no? There's great stuff coming from both
places. The global economy ... ah! The _3 Extremes_ DVD available in the
US I think is comprised of 1 Korean and 2 Japanese films. I personally
found the Korean film to be the strongest/creepiest, if memory serves.
(Someone tied to a piano.)
Anyway, what's the NYC and Chicago KJ USA tour situations looking like?
