Isaw that in Detroit for the Pixies too.  Einsturzende was doing that also.  i wonder if it is the same company?  The quality is good.  But you get warts, broken strings and belches.

It looks like I need to bring about 1g for the NYC show.

1498, actually. And for $85USD, let's hope for a good show(s).

 

There is a US version of this company doing the same thing - I purchased the live disc after the first Pixies reunion show in Minneapolis in 2004.

 

The sound was excellent; a raw board mix but with decent EQ and just enough crowd noise so you knew it was a live disc. They burn the discs at 256bps on-site using pro gear, so it's not like they're getting CD-Rs from Best Buy and burning them on their laptops.

 

I think the whole point is that you can pick them up on-site, immmediately after the show.
