  Oh, come on now, this project would entail them doing covers by the Foo Fighters, et al?  I would much rather them do a very DEADLY HOLIDAY REASON WITH THE JOKE......oh man, the photoshop possibilities are even making me laugh now.  Come on boys, do some out chestnuts that are out of copyright.

  Wondering what to get your mum for Christmas? Well, Killing Joke are releasing a covers album where bands including Metallica, Foo Fighters and Tool cover the cigar-chomping death obsessives’ finest numbers. Lamb of God have been asked to join in too, but the record company are currently negotiating.
  “I have no idea if we’re going to do it,” says LoG frontman Randy Blythe. “They’ve offered to pay for the recording and if it’s up to me I’d love to do it as I’m a major Killing Joke fan.”
  On a more sombre note, before dedicating one song to “all the members of Nirvana that are living”, Killing Joke signed off with ‘Love like blood’ dedicated to the guy who does their artwork and is suffering from MS. “He’s got an appointment with Dignitas and he wants to go out to this,” explained vocalist Jaz Coleman.Home > Killing Joke > Killer covers
