I'm aware of the incident that resulted in the song Paper Tigers but it was a dream support so hence The Chameleons.
It was in Mark autobiography I seem to remember.

That will never happen in this live time or the next!  If you are familiar with the incident that happen many moons ago with Killing Joke and The Chameleons then you would get it.
