That's exactly what I wrote:
"One last thing, if you'd learn to disassociate politics from 
individuals you'd be surprised
at how many decent people are out there."

I basically state that even if you disagree with someone politically 
it doesn't mean you have to hate/despise them.
And once you past the politics of the individual, you'd be surprised 
how amicable they may turn out to be. :)
