Is this the Voivod who were really shit? I had one of their albums (probably their first) and gave it away. Did they get better?

Yeah, it was quite a show. Voi Vod were promoting NOTHINGFACE, FNM were pushing THE REAL THING and Soundgarden (with Jason Everman on bass) were touring LOUDER THAN LOVE. It was a very hairy evening.
