Good idea, Bette. Glad we have *our* fan club (raunchy thoughts are an additional charge, however -- but well worth it.) ; )
Have a good day in Detroit.

Cheers,

k.w.

We know Karen, only we know......BPF escaped the rough beginnings.....I have many raunchy thoughts in my mind right now, but for the sake of the list, I shall refrain. bwahhh!

RE: Geordie's behavior..

They all look like they've had, um, 'rough' beginnings. The music spells it out also.

Hey! Thanks for posting this article. I only remember from that era sneaking into "Noir Leather" in Royal Oak and being rather taken aback that "Change" was being used to promote their S&M line. Had no idea he lived there....I just knew Patti Smith was in the area and I was wishing somehow that I would see her....but she was in St Clair Shores. Would love to know what little Atticus is like now.....and if he plays the guitar with his pops (for some reason I think the answer is negative, but who knows).

Re: Geordie's behavior....just an armchair psychological view....he looks in that interview that Oliver posted to be very used to chaos and violence (and not just from the battles in KJ).....eyes glazing over the second Jaz becomes even slightly more animated.... I think that he learned that at a young age "zoning out" is the best protection? Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? There is a sadness about him, despite his incredible gifts or maybe because of them.

Bette

This doesn't explain how he makes a crust, but found it interesting - bit of Geordie's family & biography:

What’s the deal with Geordie? Anyone gotten to know him, had a chat, whatevers? The guy’s in my top 10 guitarists, possibly top 5, I totally love his playing, but does anyone know what he’s all about? Lots of attention goes to Jazz and Raven and Youth and fair enough, but what’s the deal with this guy? His sounds totally, totally rock my world, coming from the metal 101 background that I do. But he seems pretty impassive, stoic, I dunno…sits in the Coleman shadow. And yeah, how does he make a crust when he’s not doing KJ stuff, as someone has asked before…? I suppose their back catalog royalties pays a bit, but would it be enough to live on? Perhaps some rich fucker has him retained as a personal bard to play on corporate jets?
