We gave a friend's pet rat a viking funeral, a few years back. 
We made him a little boat, tied the little feller on it, over some kindling,
and pushed him out onto the river that went through the park, alight. :)

Nice suggestion, jo -- almost Swiftian in its proposal. 

However, I doubt anyone would be interested in what would be left of me. I
figure the coyotes and vultures can do their job, as nature intended them
to. ; )
