Yeah, I read that BPF contributed to the Orb too. I think, though, Youth did start out as a member of the Orb back in the day.

Wasn't BPF a drummer with the Orb for a stint, as well (or so I thought I'd read ...)

I think they were probably thinking of The Fireman.
 
Youth has done production and remix work for the Orb but he's never been a "member," any more than he was a "member" of The Verve or Guns'n'Roses. The Orb was always Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty until Cauty quit back in the day. It's been Paterson and guests ever since.

They list him as a member on Discogs..

I know he had production invovlemnet in the past, maybe he's up to it, again? He is listed as current, with BPF as an ex-'member'.
Alex P was involved with KJ early on, too.
