No joke on the foto! Ridiculous.
As for Mr.Smith's other passionate comment, I have to agree (although I know a few who are decent, thoughtful folk.)
But if you read most record reviews, for example, in Rolling Stone, there's a snarkiness to those I just cannot stand. And it's spreading.

Speaking as one, let me say this: Your average music journalist is a lazy, slackjawed, fatuous doucheturkey without even the slightest grasp on fact.
Also, way to stay current. Was it entirely impossible to find an up-to-date photo of the band?

This is from Clashmusic.com. I have nothing else to say other than "Wow."
So many labels, applied so haphazardly and incorrectly...

I can honestly say I have never heard the terms "glamorous" and "Killing Joke" used in the same sentence, although Jaz' hair was kinda spiffy during the BTATS period, in a Bolanish way.

Reformed British goth legends Killing Joke have confirmed two very special shows for next year.
After the punk explosion abated many new groups began evolving in unexpected ways. Entranced by the glamour and make up of the new wave Killing Joke began experimenting with their sound and image.
Taking on board elements of industrial and glam, the band's take on punk was glamourous yet downbeat. One of the first bands to be labelled 'gothic' Killing Joke helped inspire a movement that has travelled across the world.
Releasing a series of acclaimed albums the band enjoyed massive success, before deciding to experiment. While their later albums are enjoyed by fans Killing Joke's forays into electronic and outright industrial music left many non-plussed.
Splitting in 1996, the band recently reformed. Hugely influential, Killing Joke has been cited as an influence by everyone from epic metal types Anthrax to current Clash Magazine cover star Kurt Cobain - though we suspect this was tongue in cheek.
Releasing a new live album earlier this year, 'Requiem' was a typically grandiose statement from the reformed group. Killing Joke played a number of shows throughout the summer, delighting fans with sets drawing on the full power of their back catalogue.
Now the band have confirmed their plans for Spring. Killing Joke are due to play two very special shows, taking in venues in Edinburgh and London.
Killing Joke are due to play the following dates:
April
15 Edinburgh Picture House
16 London Hammersmith Apollo
