Lost Prophets will be taking over on Thursday as part of the exclusive Q Awards gigs. The Welsh alt-metal rockers will be performing a raw and rousing set for The Gigs ahead of their first single, 'It's Not The End Of The World But I Can See It From Here' out on 12th October. The follow up 2006's "Liberation Transmission", "The Betrayed", is said by the band to be 'by far the finest, darkest and most real album'. 
 
 




 
Part of the first wave of American noise rock groups with hardcore punk ethos evolving in the American underground, Sonic Youth are confirmed to take the stage on the Friday night. The New York band that were pivotal in the rise of alternative rock during the 90's released their 16th Studio album "The Eternal" in June this year. Renowned for their live shows Q and Mean Fiddler are thrilled to confirm Sonic Youth as part of the exclusive series of gigs.
