[kj] (OT) That was a big one...

A geologist said there's always something going on, including a couple of over 7,0 'quakes a month around the world. My guess is we're hearing of all the current ones because they're all close to where people live or are in the path of the destruction.  Or maybe Earth is tired of us and just shrugging off the whole idea of (human) life on earth.

Is it me or has there been an extraordinary amount of Earthquakes in the past 6-12 months? Perhaps they have been more widely reported or ive just taken more notice, but i think they are on the up!

K.W. did, my friend. For 45 long seconds. It caused DVDs to fall off the shelves, our dog to bark like crazy, and set off car alarms in my neighborhood.
Even my husband,  said that rumbling was the strongest he'd ever experienced -- and he's lived through some big ones, too.
Welcome to California ...
