Yes I do love electronica**
'All this machinery making modern music can still be open hearted. Not so coldly
charted, it's really just a question of your honesty, yeah, your honesty. One
likes to believe in the freedom of music - but glittering prizes and endless
compromises shatter the illusion of integrity' as with anything else fed off of
by such a large industry.
Taht was all a quote from here, btw.
** though I haven't gotten into it like I'd love to.
Trick question, especially to 'Purists' out there: can we / do we consider
electric guitars as electronic? Why or why not? besides the latent guitars=macho
/ keyboards="bitch"-girly subcontext.

Subject: [kj] OT Electronic: Yes or No
A discussion evolved in another thread that got me curious as to where everyone
stands on "electronic" music. Granted the definition can get cloudy and the
genres are quite varied, but, where do Gatherers stand? Ambient, Glitch,
Trance, Minimal, Shite? What do you like/hate and why/why not?
