I grew to like DAF thanks to Killing Joke relentlessly blasting 'Der
Mussolini' at every gig back in the day,
and from there got into (some) Kraftwerk. I love Underworld - but this could
be something to do with the
fact that their gigs seem like 'proper' gigs rather than two blokes stood
pushing buttons for 90 minutes -
likewise The Prodigy.
I also enjoy a fair chunk of the Orb, but only the more rhythmic/dubby
stuff. Stuff like Aphex Twin irritates the
fuck out of me - the musical equivalent of someone in the flat upstairs
using a power drill.
However, in a few weeks I'm going to see Jean Michel Jarre and Royksopp, so
I'll let you know...
