Here is what I did tonight:

I realized late in the game The Dicks (basically Austin's version of the 
Dead Kennedys) were playing at Red 7. I went and got in so late that I 
got in for free. But they played one of my fave songs of theirs at the 
end, "Rich Daddy," about parents that spoil you:

That cleared out so I went to Elysium and asked the DJ to play Killing 
Joke's "Love Like Blood" even though maybe 15 people were there at most. 
He did so - god forbid anyone request any song but that one! - and it 
got maybe 10 people on the floor, while I was alone with my Crown & Diet 
Coke. It was some extended mix of "Love Like Blood" I'd never heard 
before, so it kept going...and going.... Ultimately it was actually 
kinda depressing.

Anyway, yep
