Was that Freddie Stars Hitler or old Adolf?I once went to a fancy dress as Freddie Star's Hitler (that is Hitler from chest to cap with shorts and wellies with old football socks tucked into the top) and before I got into the club I suffered a torrent of abuse from old blokes in pubs (even more than normal). Funny that if i had gone as Ray Charles who kept goal in Freddie Star's 11 no-one would have bothered me.It later came back to haunt me when I was courting my future wife whose Father's entire family were killed in the holocaust and there in my photo album was I in full Nazi salute(which I had completely forgotten about)-that was a hard one to get out of-there's always a very fine line....
