Steve,

Like I said, after 4 listens, I sort of "got" it, I guess. My gf also 
said she kept expecting the song to burst into something really kick 
ass, that it felt like one  long intro to a song. But the use of synths 
is kinda unexpected, throwback-y, and the song has grown on me. 
Obviously, not everyone on here likes every KJ song, for different 
reasons. I've ong been an advocate of the band dusting off "Tabazan" and 
putting that in their setlist; for some reason they seem dead set 
against it! I also really love _Hosannas_ in its entirety.

All in all, I like I've come to like the song "In Excelsis," gosh 
darnit, after initially being really disappointed. The fan video doesn't 
help it. Hearing it as an isolated mp3 might be better.
