I am an idiot (that's not open to debate). Jaz asked a friend to forward me
a message and I inadvertently gave them the incorrect email address. So,
instead of sending you all a message from Jaz I will have to try to recall
what he said in conversation:

 

Jaz is planning a series of lectures before the tour (yep, I know the last
lot were cancelled!). The themes of the lectures are:

 

1) Supersythesis (I think this relates to his idea of genius and the fact
that all of us possess the potential for it in some field, but that often it
is not realised or developed, or indeed it is suppressed),

 

2) The State of the World (not as depressing as we would all imagine
apparently), and

 

3) The concept of The Gathering (hence my previous email asking - Jaz's
asking actually - for definitions. Interestingly, Geordie first came up with
the concept of the Gathering back in Iceland, and a song titled 'The
Gathering' was written pre-dating the Fire Dances version. I don't know
whether this was ever recorded).

 

I hope I've got my facts right but if not then I apologies in advance, and
should I receive the Jaz's original email I will certainly pass it on.
