There were actually two different benefit cds, and the KJ track is on the non-Rollins-coordinated one:
Under the direction of Henry Rollins, various vocalists joined with the Rollins Band to record the 2002 album Rise Above: 24 Black Flag Songs to Benefit the West Memphis Three, a collection of cover songs originally performed by Rollins' former band Black Flag.[46] Profits from the record and the supporting tour were donated to the suspects' defense funds.[47]Another benefit album was 2000's Free the West Memphis 3 featuring artists such as Steve Earle, Tom Waits, The Supersuckers, Joe Strummer, Killing Joke, Eddie Vedder and L7. This album was organized by Eddie Spaghetti of The Supersuckers.[48]
