[kj] NEU! KJ influence?

greetings- 
 pardon if this has already been talked over, or common  knowledge..
 I glanced somewhere recently about the band 'NEU' (early 70's band  formed 
by 2 ex Kraftwerk members)  being one of the big influences on  Malcom 
Mclaren when forming the Sex Pistols (also a PIL influence) - but NEU  seems to 
have a string of pretty significant bands they influenced. 
when I pulled up the song 'Negativeland', once the song gets going it has a 
 total framework for "Wardance" - I mean its no stretch to say there is a 
close  resemblance. 
Have they ever been mentioned as a KJ influence?
