Countess, I understand what you're saying about Vegas. I left there as soon
as I could, and will probably never live there again, despite the occasional
sentimental pangs I get (as so many dear friends remain). 

However . if KJ is playing there, I'm going to do my best to be in Sin City.
Some good native music fans need to be present, and I'm one. 

 The fake Eurotrash resorts I can handle.  ; )

My apologies to Karen...but the idea of Vegas, casinos, fake Egyptians, fake
gondolas, Elvis impersonators etc. etc. is not really my cup of tea and the
reason why LB and I have not gone to any PRB.  If it took place in Boston,
or SF, or NY or another city with more diverse things one could do during
the day, the festival would be more appealing.

And I want to see KJ (or The Descendents, or SLF) play a full set. Even if
The Descendents are the main band on the second night, would they be able to
play a full set?

KJ making a grand entrance at the Luxor hotel in Vegas will leave Jaz

Very strange.  I think I'm in shock.  I may try to go though.  Sounds like
an outdoor gig in downtown Las Vegas but how long will they actually play
for?  I wouldn't mind seeing Stiff Little Fingers either.
