saw 'Tramadol Nights' which was so unbelievably shit & unfunny,  

Tim Vine makes me laugh too, and Bill Bailey

Worst TV show(s)/series:  Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights, apart from that
theres the endless "Celebrity" / reality / cookery / property porn tv that
passes for entertainment these days - do we REALLY need X Factor on both
Saturday and Sunday evenings ? Well - do we ???

 

Best Film - not seen many films this year, but Toy Story 3 gets Jack's vote

High -  watching my little boy, Jack, grow up

Watching the Sun set in the Florida Keys

Going to Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice again

Snow at Christmas and being able to take Jack sledging in Sutton Park  

 

Low - the continued ill health of my dad

The death of Ronnie James Dio

How going to gigs is becoming almost prohibitively expensive these days

Ditto going to the pub

The steady decline of the record shop. There is no longer an independent
record shop in Birmingham City Centre. Not a single solitary one.
