yes, me too ... I'm completely stunned, I was also under the impression that Pat had fought it off ... I'm at least glad he prevailed long enough to see his beloved Chelsea FC win the Premier League & FA Cup "double" but it must have been such a painful daily struggle for him ... I've been so busy that I've hardly posted here or logged on to Facebook in the past 6 months let alone keep up with Pat's blog, even though it was in my favourites ... as well as KJ & Crass, Pat was a big fan of the The's Mind Bomb & Dusk, often putting a like or comment on my postings. We only met a couple of times but I'm very grateful that Marc posted this as I no idea. RIP i-Pat.
