Just to add to LB and CC's comments, it sometimes takes me over an hour to
drive 6 miles to work, in these 'ere parts.
One blessing is they're playing on a Sunday, so traffic, especially on the
5, won't be as bad as a Friday or Saturday night.
My issue is more with the venue, I can deal with the Orange People for one
night. I'll travel to SD if I can.

Subject: [kj] Anaheim vs. LA:
I submit the following with tongue planted firmly in cheek, so haters,
don't be hating:
Re: hopes for an LA show when there is already one scheduled for Anaheim.
Speaking as someone who commutes 28 miles one-way each day, I couldn't
help but notice that all available mapping services indicate that Anaheim is a
whopping 26.1 miles from LA; a straight shot up I-5 and a 34-minute drive,
or 1hr40mns in traffic.
For those of you who live in the Twin Cities area (and one of you does),
this is the equivalent of KJ playing First Avenue in downtown one night and
the Cabela's in Owatonna the next.
I get that Anaheim to LA is a godforsaken urban wasteland unlike the
leisurely hops from cornfield to cornfield that make up my commute.
Still, some perspective seems to be in order.
