BOWIE IN BERLIN. The best of all times after his Diamond Dogs time. Oh yes, will definitely get down to the library for that one.
Would you agree that our critical-faculties leave us time-warping around specific albums and periods in artists lives? When they really focused and got their music right?
Heroes. To a true bowie fan, even spotting him in the street is a major event. I swear whilst I was standing outside of 2 Park Avenue, October 2009, Edie Falco went straight past me?

I spotted Bowie on my street (!!!) about ten years ago. I knew he lived in SoHo (a neighborhood away), but the notion of his out on the streets still seemed a bit unlikely. But there he was with his little daughter (no Iman, however). Oddest of all, he was wearing a weird baseball cap. But, then, who would expect Bowie to be wearing a baseball cap, eh? The perfect disguise. Anyway, it stopped me dead in my tracks.
I left him alone, of course.

PS: Check out "Bowie in Berlin" by Thomas Seabrook. Great book.

I downloaded the Lemmy movie (Bittorent - naughty naughty etc). Very good. Look out for the trailer with the frog-joke at the end. It's not in the movie.
Been reading books on Bowie recently. Anyone out there met him/any good Bowie stories??

They were, weren't they? Of all the reforming that's been going on the past decade,
this was the one I was hoping for.
The gig here was fucking fantastic. Going to see them twice more at festivals here in
Norge over the summer, can't frigging wait. A combination of seeing them and
seeing the Lemmy movie a few days later made me hand in my notice at my
boring job :) - which is funny cos it was hearing Blues For the Red Sun for the first
time - specifically the first verse of 'Thumb' - that made me quit a stressful job at the time in
London in whatever year that was, so energized did it make me feel.
The healing power of rock'n'roll eh, phew

If that is the case and you are not ill, then clearly you are troll who
shouldn't be "fed". No news is better than a twats views from the gathering
forum, so I don't have to read your drivel anymore I can simply just add you
to my ignore list.
