[kj] OT: rip steve jobs

Thank for posting Brendan. As far as I'm concerned, the loss of a labor-exploiting capitalist is
a victory for the rest of us, no matter how many useless gadgets he claims to have put out. 
(and I personally think people would be better off not walking around looking at little screens
all day, but that's just my opinion).
As for Gates, he is one of the main assholes advocating for attacks on US public schools--
ending teachers unions, bringing in more "charter" schools, more testing, etc. If he was
such a do-gooder he wouldn't be trying to take away education from lower income folks. I've also 
read that the "charity" he's involved in causes more harm than good in other ways too.
