Never understood the comparisons between the Stone Roses and the Happy
Mondays. Sure, both from Manchester and both filled out by mouthy
egotists, but as bands, they sounded absolutely NOTHING alike. Stone
Roses were a far more capable outfit that the Monday would ever hope
to be.
