Yeah, I'll probably pick it up, especially, because of the AD tracks live.
I would still like to see some variation in the setlist, like some Democracy
and Revelations tracks. But, this will do. Sounds like the packaging is
going to be great, especially if Geordie is in charge of this project.
"Laugh I nearly Bought One", is still one of my favorite releases.

& as I have said more than once, so would I!

I would Love to hear Killing Joke reinterpret some of OTG/Democracy.
Y'know, how prophetic did the following lines turn out to be?
"We build the tower, tower falls down all my dreams come true
Sweet Jesus & Mohammed - disputes between the boys"

Wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a revisitation of OTG, being that
is was arguably the darkest chapter of their career. I wonder if even
they ever discuss the record. I was shocked that it got the remaster
treatment those years back.

Talking about the Pledge funding thing I came across this about a German
band who funded it's last album by selling shares.
Would you buy shares in KJ? Would Jaz see this as ethically wrong?
"The German band Angelica Express financed its last album by selling
?shares? to fans.
They issued 500 ?shares? at 50 Euros each (which sold out in record time and
came with a detailed plan of how the money would be spent). With those
25,000 Euros, the band financed the recording of their album, the album
artwork, the manufacture of the actual CDs, and the accompanying promotion.
Not only do the people who signed up for the shares get the new album but in
return they also receive 80% of the earnings."
Brian.

This seems an appropriate time for this to arrive... those of you who were
there know this of course, but
just been sent the Down by the River tracklist update. Perhaps after this
they can draw a line under this setlist!

Like a chump I'll probably buy something. What kind of irks me about Pledge
Music is that I have to become a member to see the actual items. That's
either stupid or shady.
Stupid from a marketing/selling point because you want to entice the
potential customer with info about the product. Amazon doesn't make you
sign in to view details on items.
Shady because maybe they know there will be shoddy or inferior product and
if the potential customer actually sees what they are getting then they
won't buy.
Basically why do I need to sign up to get more details about the Warwick
guitar. I doubt it is anything useful. I guess it doesn't matter i cannot
justify that scratch.
And Killing Joke (or any other band) cannot control this.
I wouldn't be surprised if Pledge Music approached them
