[kj] Never a new topic OTG

Surely everyone agrees that the best possible scenario is Killing Joke
recording new music (emphasis on MUSIC), rather than exhuming the corpse of
OTG to gang-buggerise it? ("Bags I go before Youth - he takes forever)

OTG is really not so bad but for "all that Jaz": too self-indulgent and
drraaawwnnnnnn ouuuttttt, and trying too hard to sound so "deep.." and
"..atmospheric..." (or Dynasty-shoulder-pads like?
<http://uowblogs.com/digcnma058/files/2010/03/Dynasty_Rex-Features.jpg>
:DNSTY Jester look:) and thus at times verging on shallow, self-indulgent
and trite. It is proof that it was always a Jaz Coleman solo project.
Note to Jaz, re: Jaz: less is more. Repeat: less is more. Less is more.
If Killing Joke were to remake this album, it would have every chance of
being yet another great Killing Joke opus.
Something that has always stood out for me on OTG (and thus "saves" it for
me) is that it really lets Jaz's singing quality come through more than it
usually has a chance to on other albums. I can agree with a little less
"white heat" for a little more of Jaz's voice on several songs.
So here are my alltime standing requests of the band:
1 - reverse-score great classical works into Killing Joke interpretations
and blow us all away with it.
2 - remake OTG especially now that Big Paul and Youth are back.
3 - a tour with OTG(old and new versions) and Revelations songs.
When I own 50%+1 (shares) of the band they will have no choice so better to
do it now.

I think it's the production rather than the songs.
That period was bad for music.
All sounds like they were trying to make the songs have the audio equivalent
of those Dynasty style shoulder pads!
