I think it's obvious that in the parallel universe where KJ products are made, the term "shortly" means a very long an completely unpredictable length of time.

Yeah it's maybe 8 times worse because there are so many variations. 


Has the band made a "official" statement on this?  Did they ever with Gemms?

Hey everyone
Hope you’re all well.
Thanks for bearing with us while we get confirmation on what will be the new delivery date(s) for your items and get everything lined up ready so that once everything is in and signed it’ll be out to you immediately.
First off, we’ve managed to procure the test pressings for the vinyl edition of the album and thought it might be nice to give those away to you – as we did with the Shepherd’s Bush prints. We wanted to specifically acknowledge those of you that jumped on this album and concept early and so we’ll be selecting (at random) one person who pledged within the first month of the project going live and sending him or her the test pressings along with your other items.
Secondly, when will everything be in and ready to ship out? We now have confirmation that the CD/DVDs – which most of you have pledged on – should be with us end of the first / beginning of the second week of next month. So in around 3 weeks from now. We had some delays on these at both the artwork and manufacturing stage – but these have in fact meant that we were able to fit many more of your names into the artwork than originally intended. So there is an upside. If you have pledged on a t shirt or an art print these are due to be with us before this time. If you’ve pledged on the vinyl album these will arrive after the CDs.
What we’ll be aiming to do is twofold: first, we are liaising with management regularly to ensure that any item that needs signing by the band can get signed as soon as it is with us. And second we are talking with the fulfilment company the band are working with to get everything out to you guys so that they are ready to go the moment they are delivered the items. We’ll be asking them to stagger delivery and get out those items that are ready earlier first – for instance if you pledged on an unsigned CD we’ll be requesting that those are sent out on receipt rather than waiting for the signed CDs to come back and then everything going out in one hit.
We hope that makes sense and answers any questions you might have at this point. Please again rest assured that the delay here is not going to turn into what we understand happened with the Gems of Power album.
