Only because the Jonas Brothers haven't been (collectively, of course) struck by a freight train yet - and then I would post thattoo. ;D

Whitney for better or for worse was an accomplished artist and had more than proven the quality of her art, as much as some may hate it (I personally liked just hearing her voice but unfortunately the songs themselves made me change stations quick). Pop has a way of doing that to an artist - even good artists - making them sound like shit or at least shittier than the great quality of their unadulterated, proto- and/or more primodial efforts. 

Compare KJ I thru Fire Dances and see what teh Pop World can do to even the best of them. A fact/possibility so grudgingly acknowledged by Mr. Coleman himself in that video where he near-hostile-ly verbal-assaults his interviewer for calling KJ's (then) new-release "pop," (that was U2 who would ultimately most-unashamedly call their cd "Pop").


But I also posted the news because of the humorous irony in doing so, what with this being a, yes,of all things most counter-pop/-Whitney, a Killing Joke forum.

this was a Killing Joke list? Not The Whitney Houston Fan Club!? In all my years
