[kj] KJ live @ Metropolis Studios Saturday Sept 8, 2012

I've already done my big transatlantic pilgrimage to see the band, so
this was never in the cards for me, but even if it was an option, I
don't know that I'd do it. It does smack a bit of ... well, as someone
else said .... *hypocrisy* on the back of Jaz's very recent comments
condemning the Cult for their similar antics and how Killing Joke
"doesn't want your money." NO WONDER that comment of Jaz's was taken
down with all stealth if this plan was in the pipeline.

It makes one wonder how actively involved all four members of the band
are in terms of these sorts of decisions. To be fair, it might have
started off as a fine idea ... until the cost for the customer was
calculated.

Again, though -- *ANOTHER* live album and DVD? I mean, yeah cool --
but .... why? Time was when we'd all grouse about how the only proper
KJ live album was HA! and how they needed to amend that. In the
ensuing years, they've certainly caught up in that capacity with a
fucking vengeance. This late in the day, the *VERY LAST* thing we need
from Killing Joke is another live record.

I'm sure I'll receive a terse little "fuck you, then" message from
someone, but c'est la vie. Just my opinion.
