It's not bad! Sort of a synthesis of all their old styles. It has a few melodic, even danceable tunes toward the beginning, with the guitarist (Lou Edmonds) from the 90s. He uses a more early
PiL sound though, rather than the heavier 90s sound. There is some lame stuff in the middle, slow dreary tunes where he just rants or even talks. But it's definitely worth getting--it
will remind you of some of the earlier PiL albums, but w/o the harshness; and it will remind you of some of the later albums, but w/o as many pop-type songs.

Has anybody heard the new Pil album?  How is it?  I'm waiting for the deluxe edition which won't be released until June 26 here in the u.s.
