Speaking from experience, medicines & techniques keep improving year on year
My pa had a bad one when he was a mere 38 years old & in his time has had 2 bypasses, several rounds of angioplasties & various other bits of plumbing.
Each time, each procedure was noticeably improved than the last.
He's 64 now, fit, healthy & still going strong.
Stay positive.
