Your argument sounded so good Adam

and then you went and spoilt it all!

I agree though, the playing sounds Geordie but its the tone that threw me. Sounds like a solid body.
Youth has been known to slap a bit of geetar down - that 3 track demo thing was his with Future shock and Silent Rage.
I belive there were some tracks done in the sessions for MMXII that were not considered for release because Geordie wasn't even on them!

I beg to differ on both points Mr. Moss!

1. The main guitar riff that comes in right after the intro drum roll is super speedy and complex and reeks of Geordiness! The tone isn't his usual but I think the playing is pure him. The riff sounds like a first cousin of the one in Mathematics of Chaos.

2. I've always liked this tune. I think the lyrics are brilliant. Subject matter that no one ever talks about but should - reminds me of the short story "Kreutzer Sonata" by Tolstoy.. The vocal melody and delivery are really strong and I love the dark trancey dancey element of the music..

Then again, I think Outside The Gate is massive. ;)

Adam

Just "found" this again.

2 points.

1. I'm not convinced its Geordie playing. Could be a youth Jaz thing cos the guitar sounds wrong.

2. It's shit.
