Pretty tough to use a broken foot on that floor bass drum.  And the Def Leppard had a couple years to get used to drumming with one flipper.

And really, is it me or is anyone else getting tired of Grohl being the rock n' roll "everyman" who can do everything with everyone at any time.  He's probably bummed he didn't get a chance to play drums with Christopher Lee on one of Lee's metal albums.
