[kj] Near fiasco at Eurorock after gate robbery: KJ play on

A near Alt-Fest-style cancellation was narrowly averted in Belgium over the weekend when the gate receipts disappeared and the head promoter experienced a cardiac event. Bands were informed they could not be paid, and several pulled out, including hometowners Front 242.

Killing Joke, however, did take the stage, as did Peter Hook and others, so the event did proceed in truncated form.
