Well, you pay cheap you get no delivery, my supplier (Base.com) have only just
despatched my copy today...so after already hearing the album and waxing lyrical
about how good it was last week, and it now in the post (Royal Mail snail 2nd
Class) I thought fuck it and have downloaded the 2 CD torrent in glorious FLAC
whilst I await, with no remorse.

At first I thought the tracks were superfluous, however on further listen I
retract that view.  Apotheosis is relentlessly snarling Geordie, with some nice
industrial keyboard effects, and just when you think the track is not going
anywhere it breaks into a europhic chorus.  My only criticism, clocking in at
6:19 it's a tad long.

Plague has a wonderful keyboard and Geordie crescendo build around the 4 minute
mark worth the price of admission alone.  

Star Spangled tempo and guitar crunch is very reminiscent of 'Lightbringer', my
least liked out of the extras, the keyboards just do not sit comfortably to my
liking.

Panopticon my favourite from the bunch shame it was not included on the standard
edition, I won't spoil the lyrics, but just will say it most certainly is
another Jaz view on big brother....simply brilliant tune.

Really curious to hear 'Snakedance' properly, the dub mix whilst not fitting in
with the rest of the album is Youth at his dub finest, cannot say I liked all of
his work on KJ in Dub, but I am liking it, especially around the 3 minute mark,
real good dance vibe.

Personally would say, do not overlook the deluxe edition guys.  As far as I am
concerned I am in awe that a band 36 years on can be pushing out an album this
fucking good.

If it is true that venues are selling out, then I think this is the best
'commercial' period for KJ since 'Pandemonium', whilst there was a lot of press
around KJ 2003 venues were nowhere near capacity in the UK.

For those that are heading to HMV London tonight, enjoy it and report back on
here the setlists...

Good times for KJ, and I for one am ecstatic.
