I played BTATS on Sunday as it happens
Yes. The production is different but compare it to a lot of other music of the time and it holds up well. I like the retained power that's in there. You know it could growl but it's held back. I do like the Kimsey mixes and I recall the live stuff as powerful. 

Democracy annoys the fuck out of me for the wasted chances. The mix is muddy and I too would like to hear the looped version. It's recently been suggested that this be done as a "restored" companion to some planned reissues. But I wouldn't hold your breath. Aeon is a wasted track. 

Hosannas. Over long. The promo version with edits was so much better. Geordie spent just 12 days In the studio Raven said. Whenever I spoke to Raven at the time they were always pissed. Funnily enough they asked me to tour manage for them at that time for a few planned shows. Fuck that. I would have ended up with a personal credit card bill and a divorce!
That album was a very dark time for the band and I agree with Potanga. It could have been the end. The live shows were very poorly presented and attended I recall. There was some serious friction at the time and, well Raven went off to Ministry. And look what happened. Bad bad times.
