[kj] [OT] RIP Lemmy

Saw Motorhead here in Oslo on December 3 - from what has been revealed
about how sick
Lemmy was feeling, I can't believe he was getting up on stage. The drummer
said Lemmy
was making a monumental effort, and was drained after the gig. It was a
decent show - short (about
1 hour 10 mins with encores) but I don't think anyone there minded. His
vocals were pretty strong,
although when he spoke between songs he was quite hard to understand, his
speech was slurred, and
now we know why. Glad my last memory of Lemmy is him ripping through
Overkill, and not endless
news reports of him bedridden for months slowly dying.
No more Motorhead is a strange thought! Outside of my own family, the
longest relationship I've ever
had with any one thing is the music of Motorhead (closely followed by KJ).
