For no readily apparent reason other than that I'm going to Ireland in two weeks, I was perusing videos on YouTube by Irish bands like the Virgin Prunes, the Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, etc. and came across a clip of the Boomtown Rats performing their ersatz-reggae ditty "House on Fire" on some music program circa 1982. Why is this notable? Well, at the very beginning of the clip, as the camera pans the studio, you see a glimpse of KILLING JOKE's fabled banner draped over an adjoining stage, suggesting that the Boomtown Rats and Killing Joke shared billing on said show.

One wonders if they fraternized jovially in the green room.
