Interesting. Definitely would have been times in my life when Machine Gun Etiquette and/or the Black Album would have featured, and also Primal Scream (but would have been XTRMNTR).
Seeing the Primals at Reading in 2000 was one of my top gigs. Saw them there again in 2002 or 2003 and they were a pale shadow of their former selves. Too many drugs or too much ego or possibly both.

Hmm a difficult one, some of my all time favourite albums are by bands I wouldn't
describe as among my favourites, if you get my drift. So will have to leave out
SLF Inflammable Material, Talking Heads Remain In Light, Led Zep Physical Graffiti, and a
few others.
Interesting that Night Time seems to be the fave KJ album.
Can't leave it at 10.
Killing Joke - What's This For
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
AC/DC - Powerage (but on another day, Let There Be Rock)
Motorhead - Ace Of Spades (but on another day, Overkill or Orgasmatron)
Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman
Husker Du - Zen Arcade
Kyuss - Blues For The Red Sun
Tinariwen - Aman Iman (Water Is Life)
Jimi Hendrix - The Jimi Hendrix Concerts
Massive Attack - Blue Lines
Dolly Parton - The Grass Is Blue
Metallica - Master of Puppets
King Tubby - Dub Gone Crazy
Helmet - Meantime

Afternoon all!
It's completely irrelevant, but I've been meaning to ask the assembled company about this for a while. If you had to pick your top ten favourite bands, and select a favourite album by them, what would your choices be? For me both categories change on a daily basis, but I'm interested to see the answers. I'll go first, in alphabetical order:
Bauhaus: Mask
Buck-Tick: Mona Lisa Overdrive
Einsturzende Neubauten: Haus der Luge
Girugamesh: Music
Indochine: 13
Killing Joke: Night Time
KMFDM: Nihil
Rolling Stones: Exile on Main St
Richard Thompson: Rumor and Sigh
Die Toten Hosen: Ballast der Republik
As I said, it's hardly important, but picking the collected brains about music always turns up some interesting choices :)
Thanks!
Jim.
