Subject: Re: [kj] Tooling Around the US
I came very close to seeing one of the two LA area shows but I'm not a big Tool fan, tickets are pretty pricey and it appears KJ is playing a somewhat uninspiring (at least on paper) 9-10 song set:
Butcher
Tomorrow's World
Eighties
Seeing Red
Complications
S.O.36
Total Invasion
Loose Cannon
The Wait
Pandemonium
Requiem was dropped after the first show and Tomorrow's World and S.O.36 were added, the set has remained the same since the 2nd show. Interestingly, Tool has a very strict no filming policy (except for the last song) and reportedly people have been thrown out of shows even attempting to film KJ's set, thus virtually no clips have surfaced except for a batch from one guy way up in the nosebleeds at Sunday's Staples arena show which sound dreadful due to probably a shitty phone and Staples cavernous, shitty acoustics.

Has anyone heard or seen the lads on the latest US tour jaunt? How are they holding up?
I’m contemplating paying way too much money to see them as they have not been in Detroit proper since 2003 and in MI since 2010. And that was the last time I saw them and am jonesing.
I could care less about Tool
