[kj] Killing Joke 2003 Re-issue issue

I'm a MASSIVE Gang of Four fan, and while I have a very difficult time imagining them without Andy, I can't say I necessarily blame them for trying. The new guitarist is a veteran, I believe, of bands like Slint and Squirrelbait. I doubt the three other guys Andy had been working with prior to his untimely demise are especially pleased about this. 
 
Imagine Killing Joke carrying on without Geordie, right? It's sort of unthinkable.

How do ppl feel about 3 original (if you include Sarah Lee) GOF members touring with a new guitarist? The shows are already selling out in the US, whereas Gill's version was not in the years before he died. If there's one band that can live one with the only original member being the guitarist, it's GOF!

I would agree and chalk that up to the late, great Andy Gill's crisp production.

I'm not by any means an expert in sound production or engineering, but am I right in saying that, in this regard, the best 21st century Killing Joke album is indeed 2003? Sludge and mud free.
