I've just logged onto this email account for the first time in a while and seen this news. It's very sad. Knowing that Kiiling Joke are no more is bad enough! I grieve for all our collective losses - those who came this way and have passed on and, of course, Geordie and Raven. However, I guess we have to accept that nothing lasts forever.

As I refuse to get involved with Facebook, I guess I will have to be out of the loop from now on. I hope some place will surface where we can communicate away from big, corporate data and surveillance merchants. This list fulfilled that role, but what are you going to do once the herd moves on?

I haven't contributed much here for years, but I have enjoyed reading others' contributions. Thank you everybody for your input and, especially, thank you Andreas for making it possible.

Much love and thanks to everyone who has nurtured and contributed to the list over the years. Was a real shock to lose Geordie two years ago and maybe an even bigger shock to lose Mont Sherar. KJ will always be part of me and has shaped my perspective on music and the world in many ways…
